Guys, I have to be honest. With a new baby and my husband’s recent promotion, I’ve been busier than ever with little to no help at home. Sometimes I find the day has gone by and I never got to shower! Anyone else? No one would ever know though, because I just spritz a bit of dry shampoo in my hair before running out the door. Amika is my favorite dry shampoo because I have dark roots and I don’t have to worry about this stuff leaving white residue in my hair. And as a bonus: it smells so. dang. good.
I blog all day, then I usually have some sort of rehearsal at night. I love going out with friends after, but I kept getting comments about how tired I looked. I recently started using this BB Cream and it has been a godsend. If you are a mom and you aren’t using this BB cream yet, you’re doing it wrong. It’s made in Korea (the skin science experts, IMHO), and not only does it have SPF 42 built right in, but it also has anti-aging properties. I am in my late 20s and already starting to see fine lines creep up. This stuff not only covers it all up in a light-weight, not-even-really-there formula, but it slows further aging significantly.
Speaking of SPF, this stuff was recommended to me by one of my friends. If you are using any other sunscreen for your baby stop and buy this right now. This is the creme de la creme. Recommended by most pediatricians, the bottle turns pink when it comes in contact with UV light so you know to put some on. It’s unscented, absorbs quickly and is great for sensitive baby skin.
4. Yeti Yoga Mat Yogi mommas, this ones for you! I found this yoga mat at Target and I am in love. It comes in a few trendy designs which is awesome, but the best part it’s nice and thick and environmentally friendly. Comfiest and kindest yoga mat you will ever have.
This is a makeup setting spray that I love. Use this stuff to keep that BB cream in place when you’re melting in the summer heat. It has green tea extracts and smells refreshing. It can also be used as a hydrating spray for your skin if yours gets dry like mine does.
This my absolute favorite planner. I use this constantly as a blogger but also as a mom. It not only helps you design your day/week but the entire year and you can set goals for yourself and track your budget, too. The hard cover and cute designs are just a plus!
